Principal investigator
Jeremy Bleyer
Researcher in solid and structural mechanics from Ecole nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC). Associate professor in Mechanical Engineering at Ecole Polytechnique.
My research lies at the intersection of computational mechanics, applied mathematics and scientific machine learning. I am mostly concerned with how materials and structures fail, from plasticity and damage at the material level to the ultimate strength of structures, with applications mainly in civil engineering.

PhD students
Saurav Dutta
I am a PhD student at IP Paris-ENPC within the Laboratoire Navier, working on the AUTOMATIX project. My research applies scientific machine learning to model dissipative materials and complex physical systems. Before joining Laboratoire Navier, I earned my Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from NIT Silchar, India and worked on AI-driven materials research at the Indian Institute of Science. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, running, and traveling.

Postdoctoral researchers
Marina Maia
I am a postdoc at the Laboratoire Navier, École nationale des ponts et chaussées (ENPC), working at the intersection of computational mechanics and machine learning. I am interested in combining physical knowledge with data-driven methods to better understand, simulate, and design complex materials. I have also worked on computational homogenization and optimization, mostly applied to composite materials. I’m originally from Brazil and recently completed my PhD in Computational Mechanics at TU Delft.
